Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships for International Students

The University of Adelaide 2026 Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is a highly  competitive award  that  rewards commencing  undergraduate  and  postgraduate coursework  international  students who  have  demonstrated academic  excellence  in previous studies.

Host Institution(s): University of Adelaide, Australia
Level/Field(s) of study: Undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees in any discipline offered at the University
with some exceptions
Target group: Citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: Each  Faculty  will  award  only  two  scholarships  of  a  50%  reduction  of  the  tuition  fee  to  the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.

Eligibility:
   •  International  Students  commencing  with  the  University  of  Adelaide  in  their  coursework award program in 2025;
  •  Direct  entry  undergraduate  and  postgraduate  award  program  applicants,  including  those who are required to      undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
  • Applicants that meet the minimum score
  • Open to citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh that are enrolling as International Students and students who have completed their most recent qualifications in Australia;
  • Available for study in any discipline.
As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level on par with the following:
  • For undergraduate programs: Raw ATAR of 99.9 OR its equivalent
  • For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA 6.9 out of 7 OR its equivalent

Application instructions: It  is  not  necessary  to  apply  for  the University  of  Adelaide  Global  Academic  Excellence
Scholarship because this scholarship will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility  requirements.  No  separate  scholarship  application  form  is  required.  

The  university deadlines are  Semester 1 2026: November 2025: Trimester 2 2026: February 2025; Semester 2 2026: May 2026; Trimester 3 2026:  May 2026
